A friend of ours introduced us in April 2003. With Ben being pure Chinese and me having barely a trace of Chinese blood did not make things easier for us but our love founded in friendship and faith in God persevered that by the last quarter of 2004, we have already started with the wedding plans.

During a stroll at the Podium with my Grandmother, I chanced upon Themes and Motifs and saw a dazzling array of rings. I later learned they were all by Matus. I told Ben about it and he began designing our dream ring. Among all the suppliers we have consulted, it was only Matus who decided to give our rings a try. Alain and Mye tirelessly answered all our queries and treated us as friends.


In January 2005, an emergency happened in our family that left little to our budget. We had to change our rings to a simpler one. I immediately told Mye about the changes and she said she will help us do something about it. By March we finalized the details and I still sincerely believe that Matus were our lucky charms because we also won a trip to HK that day. When we got our rings a month later, I was really pleasantly surprised. My smile did not leave my face till I got home and when Ben saw it too he was stunned. The rings exceeded our expectations to the last detail. We are really proud to wear them as a symbol of our union.
